Small size dosen't mean less function. Nova also have 10 digital I/O, 6 analog I/O and 4 PWM I/O. To make full use of Leonardo's commuincation power, we equipped it with independent IIC interface, UART serial interface and micro USB. This Leonardo may be small, but unlike other mini-Leonardos, this one still has many interface connections and is powerful.
Also no need to doubt whether this mini-Leonardo's interface is user-friendly. The Nova is!!. It is has a specially designed mini expansion shield and special digital cables to connect with normal-sized sensors. You can find min 3P I/O interface and micro usb on the kit. So just use and program it like Arduino Leonardo and utilize its small size.
To make Nova a true wearable controller, it also has an integrated mini lipo battery management system. You can charge the tiny lipo battery with micro USB. If there is no USB power, the battery will automatically transfer to stable 5V power.
If you've tried the Arduino Lilypad which is powered by Atmega328, be sure to try this Nova, which has ATmega32u4.
